Instructions
- Make the Brownie Batter: Melt dark chocolate and butter together in a saucepan until smooth. Stir in sugar, then add eggs and vanilla. Whisk until glossy. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined. Set aside.
- Make the Cheesecake Layer: Beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Beat until creamy and pourable.
- Layer and Swirl: Grease and line a springform pan. Pour two-thirds of the brownie batter into the pan. Spread the cheesecake layer on top. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter and swirl with a knife for a marbled effect.
- Bake and Cool: Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 45–55 minutes, or until just set in the center. Let cool in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving for best texture and flavor.
